    • Multiple layout options from grids of images, grids with images and captions, carousels, or slideshows. Loads very quick when setting up a gallery. A bunch of options to customize size, appearances of photos, captions, hover effects, and more. Preview setting helps you to edit gallery before publishing.
  • Look
    • Clean grid layout, can choose even thumbnail sizes or justified sizes as I chose. Can click on images to enlarge and turn into a slideshow you can click through. Options to make a slideshow or carousel rather than grid if you prefer.
  • Options
    • It is free with options to upgrade to a pro plan with more features. One of the first things it says is that it has the ability to seamlessly migrate a gallery from an old plugin to this one.
  • Responsiveness / mobile presentation
    • Responsive to both tablet and mobile sizes, but in the justified grid view it does look a little strange with the different sized images in mobile view.
  • Ease of use
    • Easy to navigate, contact info for help and support is easy to find if you run into problems, they offer demos for using the plugin, and great settings that are easy to use.

    • Slider, gallery, and carousel. Lots of options for customizing size and appearance, captions, crop options, and playing slideshow options.
  • Look
    • Nice rectangular slideshow format, takes up a good amount of space and displays pictures great. Easy to use the arrows to go through the slideshow.
  • Options
    • Many customization options to make the perfect slideshow of your images to look exactly how you picture it. There is options for pro, but you can do so much with the free version.
  • Responsiveness / mobile presentation
    • Responsive for both mobile and tablet view, it keeps the dimensions of the slideshow the same, just makes it smaller as screen size gets smaller.
  • Ease of use
    • Easy to use and understand and customize to your liking. Dashboard is simple to navigate and options are easy to find.

  • Functionality
    • Customizable gallery types, easy to navigate settings. With premium there is a lot more features offered, but free has a good deal of options.
  • Look
    • Nice grid layout, responsive to screen size, crops images as needed and lets you pull up images as a full size slideshow.
  • Options
    • Some free options, but there is a lot of push for upgrading to premium features. Can add captions, lightbox features, loading effects, hover effects, cursor effects and a lot of other cool options.
  • Responsiveness / mobile presentation
    • Responsive for both tablet and mobile, but it does crop image size as it gets to a smaller screen.
  • Ease of use
    • Easy to understand dashboard, but images took longer to upload to this gallery compared to others.

    • Ability to add descriptions, tags, or URLs to individual images. Booster plugin that can optimize images to make size smaller for faster loading.

    • Responsive for both mobile and tablet sizes.
  • Ease of use
    • Very easy to understand and set up. Problem with a bug that affects the Posts page on WordPress and makes the text boxes glitch, so it makes me a little uneasy to use if it is affecting WordPress like that.

  • Look
    • Clean, grid, uniform size, ability to click on images to enlarge. Can be turned into a slideshow of full size images not cropped, or even a word cloud based on tags.

    • Basic free options with pro version available for more layouts and options. Very popular with 500,000+ active installations.
  • Responsiveness / mobile presentation
    • Responsive to tablet size, shifted to 3 block grid. Mobile view is responsive, shifts to 1 block grid. 
  • Ease of use
    • It was confusing to get set up, but the video they have for a tutorial was very helpful. Makes much more sense once you start using and add photos.
